Studio 3 Marketing Reviews, Pricing and Alternatives for Med Spas

Updated October 21, 2026

Fast answer · reviewed October 2026

Studio 3 Marketing is a full-service agency founded in 2011, with 200+ employees and offices in Los Angeles, Austin and Tampa. It holds a 5.0 rating from 99 Google reviews (checked October 21, 2026), mostly praising websites, social media and responsiveness. Prices aren't published. It fits established and multi-location practices better than a small single clinic.

I run Medspa Market Pro, which is one of the alternatives on this page. Every fact about Studio 3 below comes from its own site or public review profiles as I found them on October 21, 2026, with links so you can check.

What Studio 3 Marketing is

Studio 3 Marketing is a full-service digital marketing agency. Its about page says it was founded in 2011, has grown to 200+ employees with offices in California, Texas and Florida, and keeps a 1 to 4 employee-to-client ratio. All work is done in-house, the page says, with no outsourcing. It also reports a 90% client retention rate.

Studio 3 isn't a med spa-only agency. Its site has sections for med spas, plastic surgery, medical practices, ophthalmology, orthopedics and law firms. Aesthetics is a big part of the business, though. Its med spa page claims 14 years in aesthetics marketing and #1 search rankings for clients in 302 markets.

The services cover most of what a clinic could buy.

  • Branding, custom website design, and in-house photo and video production
  • SEO, Google and Meta ads, social media and email marketing
  • AI search optimization, so clinics show up in tools like ChatGPT
  • Its own software, including a website content platform, a lead management tool called LeadLoop, and multi-location website technology
  • A three-month Patient Acquisition Coaching program that trains front desk and sales staff to turn more leads into consults

The digital ads page says Studio 3 has been a Google Premier Partner five years in a row, a badge it says Google gives to the top 3% of agencies.

How much Studio 3 Marketing costs

Studio 3 doesn't publish prices, package rates or minimum budgets on the pages I checked, including its about page and service pages. The path on its site is to schedule a marketing consultation and get a quote.

A custom website, on-location photo shoots and several channels at once can add up quickly, so ask for the quote in separate lines.

  • Website design and build, one time
  • Photo and video production
  • Monthly management, by channel
  • Ad budget, paid to Google and Meta
  • Software such as LeadLoop, and the coaching program if you add it

My medspa marketing cost guide shows typical ranges by channel so you can sanity-check the numbers.

Contracts and what you own

Studio 3 doesn't publish a contract length or notice period. Ask for both in writing.

It is clear on ownership in two places. Its ads page says it runs campaigns from the client's own ad account, so you keep the data and campaign history if you leave. Its content platform page says the website it builds belongs to the client. You own the design, code and content, and you get full use rights to the custom images it creates for the site. Use rights aren't the same as owning the image copyright, so ask about that in writing if it matters to you.

Two questions are still worth asking. Studio 3 builds sites on DatoCMS with its own content platform layered on top, so ask what hosting and editing access look like after you leave. And if you use LeadLoop, ask how you export your lead history.

Studio 3 Marketing reviews, what 99 Google reviews say

On October 21, 2026, Studio 3's Google business profile showed a 5.0 rating from 99 reviews. I exported all 99. 98 are five stars and one is one star. 94 of the five-star reviews include text.

By my keyword count, this is what the five-star reviews mention most.

  • Website and design, in 43 reviews
  • Responsiveness and communication, in 26
  • Social media, in 16
  • SEO and rankings, in 14
  • Photo and video, in 9
  • Paid ads, in 3

37 of them mention aesthetics or medical terms, such as plastic surgery, med spa, practice or patients. So a good share come from the kind of clinics this page is for.

Two things stand out. First, the reviews say a lot about websites, social media and service, and very little about paid ads. If ads are your main need, ask for ad results from a clinic like yours. Second, the reviews are older than you might assume from the rating. 38 of the 99 were posted in 2021, and only 7 in 2025 and 2026.

The one-star review is from 2018 and objects to the sales pitch and the price. Studio 3 replied asking whether the writer was a client, and the review doesn't say.

Other review sources

  • Featured Customers. Google shows a 4.8 rating here. The profile page says the score is based on 1,249 "reference ratings" and lists no client testimonials yet. It isn't a review of Studio 3's day-to-day service.
  • Glassdoor and Indeed. These show up for "studio 3 marketing reviews" but are written by employees about working there, not by clients.

Real strengths

  • In-house creative. Its website design page says the creative team has more than 40 people, and photo and video are done in-house. One case study describes an on-location shoot for Aurora Medical Spa that produced 528 images and eleven videos.
  • Built for multi-location groups. Location-aware websites and multi-city SEO are part of its own technology. That client operates eight facilities in three states.
  • Clear ownership statements. Ads in your account and a website you own are both stated on its site, with use rights, not ownership, for custom images.
  • Help after the lead. LeadLoop and the coaching program focus on what happens once a lead comes in, which matters if leads arrive but don't book.
  • Long relationships. Testimonials on its about page include a plastic surgeon who has worked with Studio 3 for more than a decade.

Where it falls short

  • No published pricing or terms. You can't compare cost or contract length before a sales conversation.
  • More than a small clinic may need. A 200-person agency with custom websites and video shoots suits a group with budget for several channels. A single location that wants more bookings for one treatment may be paying for capacity it won't use.
  • Not aesthetics-only. Law firms and other medical specialties share the roster, so ask who on the team works on med spa accounts day to day.
  • Its own platform pieces. The content platform and LeadLoop are Studio 3 software, so get the exit process in writing.

Who should pick Studio 3 Marketing

Pick Studio 3 if you run an established or multi-location aesthetics practice and want one large team to handle your brand, website, photo and video, SEO and ads together. It's also a strong fit if your website looks dated next to competitors and you want custom photography built in. For that kind of project, a boutique or ads-only agency, including mine, isn't the right size.

When to look for a Studio 3 Marketing alternative

Look at other options if one of these describes you.

  • You run one location and want to test one channel before a full-service retainer.
  • You want a price on paper before a sales call.
  • Your website is fine and you need more new patients now.
  • You want business coaching, hiring help and marketing from one firm.
  • You want software and marketing bundled on one platform.

Studio 3 Marketing alternatives

Here are four directions, depending on what you need. MMP is one of them, with its limits listed too.

Medspa Market Pro (my agency)

Best for medspas that want to test Meta ads on one treatment before a bigger commitment.

Starting price. The First Visit Test is $299 for the first month, then $1,000 a month, cancel anytime. Your ad budget goes to Meta directly.

Key difference. It's one Meta campaign (Facebook and Instagram) for one treatment. We build the offer, the ad and the sign-up form, write the follow-up script your front desk uses, and manage it. The campaign, form and audience stay in your ad account. We report spend, sign-ups and cost per sign-up, and you add bookings and attended visits from your calendar. We don't guarantee patient numbers. Our LaVieMD campaign brought in 370 leads at $13.26 each over six months.

Limits. No websites from scratch, no software or CRM, no calls by default, and a capped roster. You supply the photos for the ad. If you need a full redesign, Studio 3 is the better choice. Broader work like local SEO, Instagram or email starts with a written audit and a quote, month to month.

Diamond Accelerator

Best for new or rebuilding med spas that want business consulting, recruiting and marketing from one firm.

Starting price. Not published. Its FAQ says you get pricing after a strategy session.

Key difference. Diamond Accelerator works only with aesthetic and wellness practices and leans on coaching, KPIs, team training and injector hiring alongside ads. It holds a 4.8 rating from 164 Google reviews. Read my Diamond Accelerator review for what those reviews say.

Influx Marketing

Best for aesthetic practices that want a design-led agency of a different size and style.

Starting price. Not published. Ask for a written quote.

Key difference. Influx describes itself as an agency for cash-pay healthcare practices, built on web design and patient acquisition, with its own photo and content teams. Its homepage now promotes Growthstack, a marketing platform for med spas, marked as new. Its web design page says the practice owns the domain, content, design files and data "as defined in the agreement." See my Influx Marketing review. It's the closest like-for-like comparison if you're collecting website quotes.

Growth99

Best for practices that want marketing software and marketing services on one plan.

Starting price. Its pricing page lists plans, but the monthly price is "available upon request." The dollar figures on that page ($1,500, $3,500 and $8,000) are the monthly ad spend each of its three paid-ads add-on tiers manages, not the fee.

Key difference. The plans cover a chatbot, follow-up workflows and a reporting dashboard, with full SEO in the top plan and paid ads sold as an add-on. Its agreement runs one year and renews automatically unless either side gives 60 days' notice before the term ends, unless your order form says otherwise. Website deliverables transfer to you only once they're paid in full, and Growth99 keeps its own tools and templates. My Growth99 review goes deeper.

Questions to ask any provider before you sign

  1. What's the total monthly cost, split into fee, ad budget, production and software?
  2. What's the minimum term, the notice period and the cancellation process?
  3. Which accounts, website files, photos and lead data do I keep if I leave?
  4. Who works on my account day to day, and how many other clinics do they handle?
  5. Can you show results from a clinic my size, in my channel?
  6. Will reports show sign-ups, booked visits and attended visits, and which numbers do I supply?
